2010-2011 Coaches - (more will be announce as they come in)
Important notice about getting licensed for coaching travel: Coaches wishing to advance to the travel level need to fulfill certain licensing requirements. The U10 level coaches need to secure two licenses before the Spring 2011 season begins. The first license to be obtained is the “G” license. The “G” license requirements can be completed on-line. Follow this link for a description of the course and the link to begin the course on-line: http://www.mayouthsoccer.org/pages/2185_coach_training_online_g_course.cfm. This course takes about four hours to complete. Once you have successfully completed the course the SSA will reimburse you for the cost of the course. The second license to be secured is the “F” license. This is an 8 hour in-person course. These courses are scheduled at various locations throughout eastern Massachusetts. The “F” license has to be secured before the beginning of the Spring 2011 season. Without these licenses you will not be allowed to coach in the travel program. An “E” license is required for coaching at the U12 level. During the Fall season all U10 travel players and coaches are required to participate in the Saturday recreational program for third and fourth graders. Also in the Fall season the travel teams participate in two tournaments versus other towns. During the Spring season the travel teams play other town travel teams on a regular season schedule and are not required to participate in recreational soccer.
