2009 Fall Travel Tryout Schedule

Sharon Soccer Association requires all travel team players to try out. To tryout for the 2009-2010 travel soccer team, players must attend at least ONE of the following age appropriate sessions.

Please do not show up unless your age group is trying out. You will NOT be permitted to try out with other age groups. There will be no exceptions.

Instructions:
Players should come to the Gavin's Pond field at the time specified to register. Bring a check (made out to SSA) or cash for $10 to cover the tryout administrative fees along with the tryout form that is available on the web site. Once a fully completed form is registered, players will be issued a tryout number for MLS coaches to score performance in various drills. No player is to be on the field without their assigned number. While attendance at only one tryout is required, it is strongly suggested that players attend both tryouts. Tryout number will be collected after each tryout and returned to SSA board members at the field. Numbers remain the property of Sharon Soccer Association.

Rules:
• players should have the following items: a ball properly inflated, soccer cleats, socks, shin guards, mouth guards (strongly recommended) and an appropriate beverage.
• no numbered shirts or uniforms of any kind are permitted during tryouts.
• tryouts are conducted under all weather conditions except where safety may be a concern (i.e. the threat of lightning)
• both boys and girls weather permitting should wear t-shirt type shirts (no string or tank tops of any kind) and appropriate shorts
• all jewelry is prohibited
• please follow the direction of the MLS coaches at all times.
• review and observe the SSA Code of Conduct
