What is Rec Soccer, and how does it differ from Travel?

Recreational soccer (or rec soccer) is an intramural program. Teams are comprised of Sharon residents; sessions are organized by grade level. Travel soccer is a tryout program in which players travel to play against teams from other towns.

The spring rec program, like the fall, will bring small groups together for modified scrimmage/game play for 60-minute sessions on Saturdays at Gavins Pond Fields. If two or more sessions are canceled due to inclement weather, one session will be added. Registration for Rec Soccer costs $100 and financial aid is available for families in need.  Please refer to our Financial Aid page for more information.

The Spring Rec Season runs on Saturdays at Gavins Pond Fields. It will begin April 6, 2024-June 1, 2024.

*There will be no soccer on April 13 or May 25 for the holidays

* If two sessions are rained out, we will add an additional session on June 8, 2024.
